My guess is that when you are grown and have a daughter of dating age your outlook will be much more conservative . Sounds like it hit a little close to home there by your rant . These were not my rules but they may not be too far off .

I liked it, I have 3 boys and would hope that they will respect the young ladies they intend to date and I would feel the same way if I had girls.

Cosign on that original post. Any kids who think thats too strict or whatever are of course growing up in this day and age where parents are more friends to their children than acting like parents. Back in the day, you knew to respect somebodys' daughter when you took them out. Second or third date now, that was a different story! But all this talk about being too strict in this politically correct environment, makes me wish schools would reinstall corporal punishment and the government would keep their nose out of parents business if they wished to do the same. Kids these days know there is no consequence for their actions, that's why they act the way they do.

Oh give me a break, the only thing that is different is that it's less hidden than it was back then, nothing at all has changed. That's that old nostalgic bit about the "good ole days", when it was basically the same, I laugh everytime I hear that junk.
